Operating Systems - Windows
ServerBeach offers 3 versions of the Windows Server 2003 operating system, Standard Edition, Web Edition and Enterprise Edition. ServerBeach recommends the Standard Edition for most applications due to the increased functionality compared to Web Edition. Web Edition is limited to 2 GB of RAM and cannot run Active Directory, so it is useful as a basic web server, but should not be used for multipurpose servers. The Standard Edition can support 4 GB of RAM and comes with the Windows Firewall for additional security.
