Port Speed Options (10Mbps/100Mbps)

ServerBeach offers a 10Mbps port speed on all dedicated servers by default. ServerBeach does offer 100Mbps port speeds on select servers for those customers with sites that receive high amounts of traffic such as streaming media, gaming and downloading among others. If you want to change the port speed on an existing server, please contact your Account Manager at 1-800-741-9939 Option 2 or send an email to upgrades@serverbeach.com.

Bandwidth Options

Each ServerBeach dedicated server comes with a bandwidth allotment per billing cycle based on the server type. Additional bandwidth that is used each month is billed separately. To give our customers peace of mind and eliminate worrying about these monthly fluctuations, we offer an unlimited bandwidth option on both the 10Mbps and 100Mbps ports. Private Networks (100Mbps/1000Mbps)

We understand the importance of communicating between your web, database and other servers internally without going over the public Internet. In the ongoing effort to support our clients who continue to grow their server farm at ServerBeach, we are pleased to introduce PrivateNet. Growing demand for such a product has lead us to develop and now launch this service.

Private Net is being currently be offered on a limited basis on new Powerline AMD 64s or Dual Opteron servers in our Texas data center. The port speed can be 100 Mbps or 1000Mbps over the private network. Starting at $40 per month per server, PrivateNet is a small price to pay for the peace of mind that a dedicated connection between your servers will always be able to handle your critical data transfers without going over the public internet.
